Two original WWI British Brodie helmets for sale. Very rare to come across. No liners. For full condition, please see photos. I am more than happy to provide more in request. £300 each (including postage).

They are still available because you are asking easily three times what they would likely cost a collector from a specialist militaria dealer. For £300 I would be expecting each of them to come with a near mint condition original liner. A plain original helmet shell in good condition sans liner is more likely to achieve somewhere in the region of £50-100, and closer to the lower end from a non-dealer.

I'm just selling them at the same price I got them for (I bought 3 for £300 each). I've never been able to find any anywhere near the region of £50-£100, from dealers, militaria fairs or online. I'd rather just keep them for that price.

Oh dear, you must suffer from unbelievable bad luck then. Just this evening alone on Ebay this example with really nice original paint and a lovely condition original liner went for £285:
