Categorising activities

Post by Tetardd »

I'm compiling a small database of groups connected with keeping history alive for my own use. It must be across all periods (but my expertise is in medieval so my ideas of activities in other periods is sketchy)

I tried to classify all the activities into the following categories:
- Living history
- Single combat
- Battle re-enactment
- Historical Arts and Crafts
- School Visits
- Films
- Full Contact Historical Combat

Has anybody got any suggestion to add to these or have I covered it all? I don't want to be too granular as it'd be a mess of subtle differences but I don't want to be too broad either (hence the reason why I split combat into different sections).

Music and dance seem to be lacking.
