Pickelhaube helmet linings

I have bought a repro Picklehaub and it must have had a lining any idea what meterial the lining was made of?

a quick google of picklehaube lining will give you a selection of linings on different models, the liners depended on model but revolve around variations on a theme- picklehauben.net may be a useful resource if you know the age and type, presumably something like a ww1 1916 infantry version? as there are quite a few of them about at the moment.

Mine is helmet is a brand new Indian repro nevertheless I would like to have a lining for it.
