2017 Forum Recruitment Drive

Postby cal » Sat Jan 07, 2017 11:12 am

Forums thrive on people, LivingHistory.co.uk is no different, we need more people and some fresh faces.

So, please post about the site on your facebook, instagram, twitter or wherever.

There are social media buttons on every post now, so you can share individual topics and posts.

Let's make 2017 the best year ever !!

I think that some of the pages on Facebook do not help this forum as lots of people look there first, but this is a great resource and it would be a shame to loose it, please support it people

Sorry, but none of these adds do it for me. We have to be able to do better than this!

I'm not the best person for this sort of thing.

Someone on here - please put together some that work for us all :)

Actually I think you have done a very good job, I certainly do not have the knowledge to be able to marry script with images as you have. Besides, this is only my opinion, I just thought that you needed more variety in periods rather than just WW1 & WW2. I could perhaps supply some images for you to use, but that is about the extent of my abilities in this media.

How about some period art?

How about some modern Period Art? Providing you add the artist's name you should have no copyright problems.

These two are mine, use them if they are of any use.

How about concentrating on wording like: "Fun for all the family" "Something for everyone" "Period camping" "Historical Trekking"
Just some ideas.

How about making a video? Here is one we made some years ago that may help with ideas.

Just as a matter of interest, the notifications I am getting from this forum on my emails have no active links. I have to copy the link & put it in a search engine! Any chance of fixing that please?
Regards, Keith.

They are sent with live and active links - think this might be a problem at your end - can you put up some details on the support forum and I'll investigate further.
