Viking Age Cookbook

Post by Serra »

Hi I a being new to this board, so I am nt sure if this is the appropriate place to post this - please let me know if I should move it
Anyway...

I have this year finished my book on Viking Age food and cooking, based to a large extent on experimental archaeology, site specific finds and the context of each site. In the book we have looked at seven different sites in order to give an idea of the diversity of the Viking Age cuisine and how the food preferences were reflected by both the region and the context of the site

The book includes both a thorough background and 43 recipes that aim to be as close to authentic as is possible today

The book can be found at: http://www.amazon.co.uk/An-Early-Meal-C ... g+age+food

Interesting. Will it be published in paperback?

Would using this for early Anglo-Saxons be cheating?
