The children who built victorian britain
Saw half of it a while ago and manage to catch the bit I missed yesterday.
Thought it was quite interesting.
It was nice that it wasn't all negative, and some of the accounts showed that some children enjoyed what they did and got satisfaction from having a role and earning money to help the family. The stuff about the boys who joined the navy. The father and son I wonder if perhaps the mother had died and with no one to look after the child he took the 6year old to sea with him.
Anything with a vague historical bent
