The Beaufort Companye
We are a national group with members located throughout the country and are currently looking to recruit enthusiastic individuals and families to portray the civilian and military aspects of the Companye.
We attend the annual battle re-enactments at Azincourt (1415), Towton (1461), Tewkesbury (1471) and Bosworth (1485) and are regularly employed by English Heritage to deliver exemplar medieval interpretation at some of their most important sites including Richmond and Kenilworth Castles, Rievaulx Abbey and their blue riband event “The Festival of History”.

Re: The Beaufort Companye
It was only a good article because it mentioned the Oxfords and Woodvilles. Many of the photos were ruined by having Allan in them, but if you use scissors corectly that can be changed. Jayne looked good for instance.

Re: The Beaufort Companye
Again does no-one use canon law anymore?
There will be no St. George's day next year, it falls on a Sunday, Easter Sunday at that and therefore gets bumped off due to being an insignificant optional memorial feast day.
So you'll just have to celebrate Paddy's day with extra vigour you heathens.

Great looking group! Some amazing portrayals, clothing and equipment put together here. I really enjoy the research section. When I have some spare time I will have to look through them all.
One of the pictures that came up on the front page looks just like a gent I know.
Allan,
Is it available in the USA?
Thanks,
Randall

I'm pretty sure Skirmish is global, check online. Certainly most of the articles used to be by and about Stateside re-enactors, mostly Civil War types. That was until it became company policy to feature Allan in every issue.

Re: The Beaufort Companye
I take it Stoke is being done at Kelmarsh Allan?? Pity it cant be done at the actual site. I remember doing that one many years back alongside the White Company, 1987, the 500 years show on the site, private land though. Shame the owner cant be persuaded again....
