Probably cost you thousands if you can find one. You can get prop versions for a few hundred quid.

My grandad had one and I have his medal for shooting with it at the 1919 Army shooting match in Germany. Sadly the army wanted it back when he left.

You need to telephone them sharpish if you are in with any chance of getting one. It's been a week since I informed the European Forum that they were in. They won't be on the website as I believe they have gone off to the proof house.

Our group purchashed a couple recently but you have to be prepared to pay a premium. We spent nearly 6 grand with the tools and extra's

Hardly hens teeth, there should be a few coming into stock in the next two months. Stoneleigh Militaria show might be a good place to look.

beg to differ, hens teeth is spot on for the last couple of years, there may be a couple now (vey ouchy price) but there hasn't been more than a couple passing around privately for ages (unless you count the couple of post war ones that were as rough as hell).

Saw one for sale at Chatham at the weekend (first time in over five years - though I don't go every month), didn't even bother looking at the price.
