The 33rd have a good reputation and are based in Yorkshire http://www.33rdfoot.co.uk/
Those who live by the sword get shot by those who don't.
The 1st 95th have an equally good reputation as well

Hi Miss Costello,
I'm in the 32nd Cornwall (don't expect you to want to travel that far!) but we're currently trying to get a group together which you might be interested in if you join the Napoleonic Association - fondly known as the Pemberley Detachment
This would be a group of ladies who met at events - and indeed outside events if they so chose - to recreate the lost arts of tea-drinking, authentic cake, period poetry, fringe-knotting, embroidery and other genteel pursuits for the edification of the public. Attendance at Balls *is* an option. There are some that OH and I have been to where it is a bit of an asset to go mob-handed as you feel likea bit of a wallflower else!
If that's the sort of thing you fancy drop me a message?

Well, if you're serious
there is a new board on the NA Forum called the Rose and Feather which is specifically intended for the, ah, gentler side of life.
Trying to arrange a meet at Rockingham (which I won't be going to, but plenty other people will) although it's early days yet....
