Actually I don't, but I want wood. Wood for axe handles. Any suggestions for where to get and what type would be mucho appreciated.

Zac.

Ash is traditional - check if your local wildlife trust has any woodland in need of management and they may let you go and cut your own!

When you say you use ash, do you mean your axe handles are made of ash, or you use it regularly and have a supplier that might be able to sort me out with some? :D

Enough for one axe atm, possibly (definately) more in future. Maybe 60cm shaft, as I like using it as a mini polearm, but hanging from the belt it can't be much bigger.

Might you be able to supply some? I live in surrey, where are you based?

I am based in Dudley, west mids. I could send you enough for one handle ( 2"x 2" x 24" ) & think about £5 +p&p should cover it, if you need more PM me and we can sort something out
