Hi Sally,

Again - thanks :D :D :D (seems like I'm getting deeper in your debt). :)

I'm simply trying to follow your advice and get final confirmation on what "IS" allowed (I'd hate us to be kept out because of a silly mistake).

Best wishes

Roger

Then Surely it's better to contact a member of the organising group who's authenticity is the one everyone will be using, rather than someone else?

A fair comment... my PC skills are rather naff and as yet I've not located the single person to contact... :oops:

I'd guess from your comments You'd know who they are... would you give me their contact details please.

Roger,
i do, but i dont have their contacts, Pm paul murphy one of the mods and he should be able to point you to the Vike authenticity pages, which has everything you need for kit for Hastings.

Thanks... it now appears my contacts with Sally has eventually led me to contact with the right person :D

Sally;
thanks very much, your willingness to help has made a difference. Its always a shame when some onlookers simply can't be arsed with the effort of jumping in to offer help :roll:

Best wishes

Thank you for your help guys (& Gals); also Mark Gr.
Hazell has contacted me direct (and very helpful she was too). :D

As a 30 year middle ages re-enactor; I'm pleased to say I feel a little more confident about 1066 living history clothing for a trader than I did a week ago... BUT any advice about my tent/campsite would be realy useful please. :D

Thanks again

Roger
