Viking Age Trauma Wounds

Postby Neil of Ormsheim » Wed Feb 04, 2015 6:47 pm

I am reliably informed that on Thursday 21st Feb, in the coucil chamber, there will be a lecture on Viking age trauma wounds and how they might be caused. Tickets are £4 (£3 concession) and some details will be on the Yorvik website.

Knowing the political scraps that have been happening in York over the last few years I wonder if the group leaders of York council will be in attendance. Is it an entertaining lecture (or is it just a one off?)

21st of Feb is a Sunday? Last day of the Festival. Is it on the 19th?

No drama. Sounds interesting, might see if I can get up to York a day early.

Excellent

There’s a country in Europe where they treat their ex soldiers with pride no waits for medical treatment after injuries received during service, no amensia from the government. Cant for the life of me recall where it is but I know exactly where it is not.
