Viking Clothes Suppler Needed.

Post by Tiddles »

We do not have the time or skills to make kit.

So am looking for a supply of "off the shelf" 10th century kit. Both male and female costume.

Or at least someone who can make the kit at a reasonable cost and reasonably quickly.

Tiddles.

Yes, but unless you make it yourself that's about the going rate. The cloth is not that expensive (£10-20 maybe), but the time it takes to cut, stitch and finish any garment will soon mount up, and so anyone doing it as a business will be looking to make a living from it, which doesn't mean doing it at £5.80 per hour.

Thanks.

Nice stuff and prices look good. Will investigate them further.

http://www.historicenterprises.com - shipping isn't too pricy either.
Although if your a member of a society I'd check first with your AO before purchasing anything from anyone.
