Battlefield Britain question

Postby GuyDeDinan » Thu Mar 12, 2009 2:49 pm

I'm watching a repeat of the Boudicca revolt episode. They talk about Legionnaries using a multiple wedge formation, yet from my own books, I've not come across this formation used, certainly not as 1st century AD. Anyoe know what source they were using?

Its not from Rome Total War, legionnaries can't use wedge formation, only the cavalry can.

If they'd been using Rome total war the legionairres would have permanantly been in testudo formation...

what was that crappy TV show using the RTW engine and 4 people had to try and beat a historical battle?
