Ancient History/Archaeology magazines

Postby lawrence » Mon Dec 29, 2008 6:21 am

I'm looking to approach a UK based magazine to run a competition with one of my mosaics as a prize. As I've only ever got Minerva magazine I don't know many of the others so was wondering what other magazines are out there that are aimed at archeology/ancient history buffs?

BBC History

British Archaeology always have a little competition for some thing, usually books though.

Council for British Archaeology is a good one to approach. You could also try Wiley Science (online) - as they are a good source of all archaeological journals and books etc.

Hi

You could also try the following magazines

Current Archaeology

and, although it is Dutch based they might still be interested

Ancient Warfare.
