Medieval Music in the Dales

Postby saracen » Sat Jan 30, 2016 11:07 am

Hello all - another heads up about our amazing festival of medieval music at Bolton Castle, September 2nd-4th this year. Concerts, workshops, open stages and an amazing array of instruments complete with their makers. And all medieval music, of course.
I know it's a long way off but we are about to launch our Crowdfunder campaign. This is our principal way of raising funds and basically it allows people to get advance tickets at the very best prices. The campaign also offers tickets that will not be available at a later date, such as
- the Performer Pass - a massively discounted ticket available to those who want to come and play on the open stages. There loads of opportunity to showcase what you do and it brings other benefits as well. Only rule - it must be medieval repertoire (we're saying no later than 1500) and (obviously perhaps...) not amplified,
- camping tickets. The castle offers limited camping room; book soon to secure a place!
- group tickets for groups of up to 10 or 15 people. Great discounts, we thought this might be good for reenactment groups wanting to come along for the day?
The crowdfunding campaign starts on 15th March and lasts through till Easter. We've got to make our money in this time so please give us your support. Our Facebook page gives regular updates, and I'll post again here.

Will there be any non-camping (B&B or self-catering) accommodation?
