Radio Days is happy to link with reenactors groups for WW1 events.

If you have seen the film "Oh, what a lovely war", you might remember the scene with Maggie Smith singing "I'll make a man out of you" while a recruiting sargent goes up on stage and tries to get as many men as possible from the audience.

Now, I'll be the first to admit that I cannot sing for toffee (other confections are of course available) but this is a very interesting take on the living history theme. Do you come to the west of Wales at all?

Non-singers can always do very well with trench songs in a group! ;) It's always good fun.
