no. You have things like lyres/harps, but they are a long way from guitars at this point

Unlikely. The acoustic guitar in its modern understanding evolved through 13-16cc. in Spain.
Though it does not exclude existence of other string instruments at that time, there are some mentions of them in sagas, as far as I remember.
There are a couple of bands in Scandinavia who try to recreate the music of that period.

Ok thanks, I would have loved to take my guitar with me to Reenacting guess i will have to learn new instruments lol
