North East Market (Branspeth) - 28th & 29th October 2017

Postby Redders » Fri Oct 27, 2017 8:26 pm

We're trading at Branspeth Castle this coming weekend.
It's the only market in the North East.
Why not come along and see if there's anything you need?

Sat 11am to 5pm
Sun 12noon to 4pm

Hope to see some of you there

I'm surprised this event isn't advertised more tbh...the only event of its type ooop north (as far as I'm aware?) I've been for the last few years and every time I go it gets smaller, not sure I'll travel south for 2.5hrs next time...if get dressed for battle can't be arsed to go n they are only down the road :?

I agree that the advertising for this event was poor/non existent. I only knew it was on because I'd Googled to see and found the NLHF webpage. I can't be the only tech dinosaur that views Facebook and the like as instruments of the devil. I hadn't seen any mention in the local press and there was no round robin email to local groups & societies that included my contact address.
There's no list of the traders present on the NLHF page for this event, which would help inform decisions about possible purchases, amount of cash to take etc. I'd like to contact a trader for back up info on an item I bought as his advice to find a YouTube video has not proved productive. I wasn't given a card with contact details with the purchase so don't know who the chap was.
While use it or lose it may be good advice, it's hard to use something if you don't know it's happening.

All very valid points.
Market 'Marketing' is always a sore point unfortunately.

Some of us do what we can. I'm lucky where i have a wide circle of customers/contacts to can get a quick and useful message out.
