The Feudals - 2015 Calendar

Postby Brendan C » Sat Jan 10, 2015 7:51 pm

Looks like it's going to be a busy year for any reenactment society with a 1215 connection, and the Feudals are no exception

http://www.feudals.org.uk/events/

We've been about since 1998, recreating military and civilian life from the period between the civil war of Stephen and Matilda on (1135 to 1154) through to the death of King John (1216). This year's events are purely aimed at 1215, with events either being 'pro John' or 'pro Magna Carta'.

Hope folks feel like coming along and taking a look at what we do; always on the look out for new members as well

The last event has been added to our calendar - a one day show at Runymede on June 7th reenacting the negotiation and sealing of the Articles of Barons, which took place at Runymede between King John and the Barons a few days before the sealing of Magna Carta

That should wrap it up for the year, I think
