Vikings in Cheshire

Postby Alwin » Sun Dec 28, 2014 3:37 pm

Hey all,

Recently moved to Cheshire on a temporary basis, but it looks like I'll be around for a while longer (just started a new job), so I'm looking to pick up my hobbies again, including Dark Ages re-enactment. I learned my initial craft with the Wychwood Warriors in Oxford, with occasional visits to the Vikings here, there and everywhere. I thought there were Vikings in Manchester (I'm about an hour south of Manchester), but I haven't been able to track them down as yet. So I figured I'd try here. :)

Hello there!
Although not a Viking myself I can recommend Viking Chester as a good group, very active in and around the City. Here they are stirring up trouble at the Midwinter celebrations in the city surrounded by numerous other groups/mops.

Their Facebook site is here. https://www.facebook.com/VikingChester ask for Karl (on the left) and tell them Samhain sent you!
