American Civil War

Postby Kevan Bailey » Wed Jan 08, 2014 11:46 pm

Just been listening to the recent Divided and United album and it's reminded me of how much I used to enjoy the serious ACW scene. Someone's going to correct me on this, but it seems that everything's just faded away. Is there anyone out there? Small scale stuff, first person, campaign impression, that kind of thing. I've a couple of friends who'd no doubt be up for it too.

I was also wondering about this! Want to do small, authentic displays and stuff and can't find anything like that to get involved with.

I don't know much about the ACW scene but have heard good things about http://www.lazyjackmess.com/aes.htm

Hi,
The place to go for ACW is: http://www.aesoc.co.uk/

The Lazy jacks is just one of a number of groups and messes who have all come together under the American Eagles. We portray both sides, east and west. we could do with more members for our mess!

cheers
Derek

I used to do a little with the 24th michigan Iron Brigade many many moons ago, great fun and good lads. I wonder if they are still about??

Derek THTB, they look great. Glad to see their authenticity document.
