Looking for Medieval Combat Training

Postby IngvarrRaudi » Sat Oct 12, 2013 7:58 pm

Hi!

I am new to this scene and would like find a group that can train me in Medieval Combat (particularly Anglo-Saxon/Norse period) in Nottingham, I know there are a few re-enactment groups around however I'm not sure that I want to go that in-depth as all i really wanna do for the moment is learn the ways of a warrior! Can anyone suggest any groups around nottingham/ng15!

Thanks!

I saw them and it seemed ideal however due to the rust bucket I drive (Motorways are a serious challenge for it) and my lack of petrol funds its a little far as i live in Hucknall :(

You could try the KDF, which is a HEMA group that studies German longsword. They have a chapter in Nottingham.
