Redcoats and Revolutionaries portray soldiers and civilians during the American War of Independence. We have 2 opposing military sections (British Regulars - HM 17th Regiment of Infantry & 40th Regiment, Light Company - and Rebel Militia - the Lexington Minute Company), and a thriving civilian section focusing on period crafts, including a blacksmith, gunsmith, tailor(s), laundry maid and more.
The main aim is to provide public demonstrations, but we also organise private training sessions and weekends (at lovely sites), and are looking into full immersion experiences in the near future.
We are UK wide, with a large group based in the East Midlands, who meet regularly.
If you are interested, or know anyone who might be, take a look at our Facebook Page, Meetup
or our Website.
We have a private Facebook group, and mailing list for communication.
Also, thanks very much to all those re-enactors who have shown us a tremendous amount of good will, the help from all quarters has been astonishing.

Re: Redcoats and Revolutionaries
We've grown a bit! Now have 2 decent sections for the 17th and Lexington Militia, and are looking to grow!
We have established relationships with kit suppliers and can get a full kit out pretty quickly now, email alan@redsandrevs.co.uk for more info, or take a look at our website: http://www.redsandrevs.co.uk
