Kedleston - The Derby Re-enactment Group

"Kedleston" is a lost medieval village, which was cleared to make way for the landscaping of Kedleston Hall in the eighteenth century. The Kedleston Re-enactment Group is committed to presenting an authentic portrayal of the lives and characters of fifteenth century Derby. We see their names around the city but many have lost their original connection, indeed we don't think Derby makes enough of its medieval history...time for a change!

How many groups are you with now Craig? Are you trying to single handedly take over the medieval re-enactment world by membership?

By God that's fantastic news omae. Please pass on my very best wishes for her, the wean and even yourself.
I'll be sure to pray for you all on Divine Mercy Sunday, maybe the wee one might be saved and become a follower of the True Faith (the catholic Church and Celtic.)
I'm thinking of setting up a group to re-enact the glory days when the Bhoys could score goals. ;(

Thanks Dave :) I really wanted to use that one but as we don't do any black powder - not this year anyway - it wouldn't fit.

I have that one as the wallpaper on my PC at work though - just like the cover of Das Feuerwerkbuch :D

Yes - I 'll be at the EMA event

You never realise you're official until you see your group posted here! Elenna's busy preparing responses to the inevitable 'Is that a real baby?' question for Sara, I'll be censoring them before we pass them over!

Hi, I'm wanting to get into history by joining a medieval group. My two interests are archery and music. I don't have one at present but I'm planning on buying a sackbutt and my girlfriend a lute. I'm also looking to join an archery club near by so I can try out long bows. (I live in long eaton) Many thanks for any help, Ben
