hi can anybody tell me where i can get my hands on treated gaot and sheep skins for making great war jerkins.

Stuart Peachy for sheepskins. Look up Historical Management Associates on the web or he should be at one or other of the October markets.

If you are still looking for a goatskin the Anne the Wise Woman of the Tudor Travellers had one (she's lurking on http://www.tudormarket.com in the Tudor Traveller's tent.)
I was selling sheepskins for her, too. She may have more.....

not sure if he has a website or anything, but he usually trades at the ryton market.

has huge variety, and can usually get anything else. prices start at five quid
