Hi folks - have also put this in the General History section; any help greatly appreciated

An enquiry from a friend of mine - is there anyone who supplies medieval embroidery frames?

Many thanks

If you find one, could you let me know, please? I'm trying to do embroidery at shows and would like something authentic ish. Thanks.

You need a pegged slate frames: principle below, but without fancy turning.

Examples

http://www.royal-needlework.org.uk/shop/index/1 - cheaper, but doubtless subsidised price more victorian

http://www.siestaframes.com/acatalog/Slate_Frames_.html - blocky construction, but uncontraversial

ebay: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/NEW-ITA-18x18 ... 463873e7f7 - again blocky, ubcontraversial, cheaper

etc etc etc.
