Tudor babies

Postby ebeal2011 » Wed Jan 22, 2014 11:23 pm

What would you expect a non walking child to wear in this period? My googling has proved unsuccessful. I know boys and girls were dressed similarly until breeching of the boys and then the boys wore mini man clothes. lol.

My youngest child is under one year (a girl) and I keep wondering what she would have worn..

Your best introduction to this is the recently published 'The Tudor Child' from the team at the Tudor Tailor. Might I ask where you are intending to do Tudor reenactment?
