Postby Angie » Tue Dec 03, 2013 8:29 pm

Does any one have any images or sources that show or describe the bodices they would have worn?

There was a young woman from Wantage, to whom the town clerk took advantage,Said the Borough surveyor "Indeed you must pay 'er, you've totally altered her frontage"

I once across a book titled 'Early Irish and Highland Dress' (or very close), not sure if it's still available, or how reliable it would be, but it might be worth a search? You never know where old books will turn up!

Angie is my other half, we have a good kit reference and IMO very good kit but we are trying to compile images and information. In 30 iofdd years I've found a lot of (bad) speculation and little good primary source, thats what we are looking for.
