Dress Pattern Suggestions?

Hello folks :)

Was wondering if you could help me.
Does anyone know of a good dress pattern the same or pretty close to recreating this dress? It's Marion's blue linen gown, though I may end up making it sleeveless.
Any and all suggestions are most welcome!

(Apologies for bad pics)

The Medieval Tailor's Assistant by Sara Thursfield is a very good place to start

I have a lightly used copy of the Medieval Tailor that I would be happy to sell on - I no longer make medieval clothing/costume. Feel free to make me an offer I can't refuse, but be aware I'll be off line for a couple of weeks. Amazon are selling at between £23.00 and £28.00, no doubt plus postage.

it very much looks like an undergown I made last year. I used a pattern from 'Rocking Hors Farm", #140 sideless gowns. It gives you the patterns for the gowns and the underdress. You can also look at a pattern from 'Reconstruction History'( RH 002) Thats a 15th century Womans Kirtle.

Will most likely just be for my own pleasure, but would be cool if it was accurate enough for reenactment. Need guidance though.

Best advice is get Medieval Tailor's Assistant and do off right from scratch - cloth is expensive. Shadow7cat is a friend and I can vouch for her copy being in very good condition if she hasn't already sold it. If you are planning to fight you will need male clothing and it covers this as well.

Is that cream satin ribbon doing up the chemise? I suggest that you use cotton shoe laces which are cheaper and more towards the authentic side of the spectrum between fancy dress and fully living history. Once threaded cut off the plastic tag ends.

Hope no one minds me digging this up again - this dress looks like it might be a good shape for a project I've been considering, but I can't see the patterns correctly, can anyone tell me if there is a way around this?

Sorry, that doesn't make much sense :$

Apologies, I didn't put up the right link :$

On the page for the dress itself http://sallypointer.com/costume-textile ... eval-dress where I'm assuming a pattern is, I can just see blank space with a red cross - may be my internet connection :eh: Sorry!
