Improvements to the Medieval Tailors Assistant

Post by Colin Middleton »

It's been over a decade since the MTA was originally published and during that time Sarah Thursfield has continued to do research and experimentation into medieval clothing. As such, she's drawn up a list of 'corrections' to the MTA. It's not so much things that are wrong with the MTA as new information or improvements that she's worked out in the years since.

I've been looking after Sarah Thursfield's website (http://www.sarahthursfield.com/) for her for a while now and we've just put live a new page detailing these improvements. If you select "Beyond the MTA" from the menu, you'll be taken to the new page, which lists these alterations. Also, keep you eye on the site as I'm hoping to get a .pdf of the information available for free download.

Also, keep your eye on the site over the next few months as I'm hoping to get her webshop up and running for Christmas.

Many thanks

Colin

Hmmmm, now am I unable to get on the site because my employer has fire-walled it or because the site's gone down? :^) I'll look into that tonight. :-x

It is, sorry about that. :-x

I've raised a query with the hosting company. We'll get this sorted as soon as possible!

What a humiliating way to announce something!

I contacted the hosting company about 8pm last night. About 8:45 they came back to me to say that they couldn't find anything wrong and it was all working fine (which it was). I'm going to keep a closer eye on it in future!
