Where can I obtain thick Leather

Postby Twice a knight » Sat Jul 31, 2010 11:38 pm

Trying to source some thick leather, 6-8mm if possible, Oiled ox hide might do the trick, but no idea who stocks it. Anyone point me in the right direction.

Don't know where you are based, but there is a shop down a side road off Old Hall Street in Liverpool city centre, run by a very strange little old lady, that sells leather - I think it might be called Fletchers.

Got some really good oil tan buff from Claytons in Chesterfield. Great for a thick and supple buff coat.

The Identity Store may also be able to help. They get hold of all sorts of odd leathers.
