Am I period or not (2) did exist for a while but the photo album was suspended as it was not paid for - it would almost be worth the money to see if you can get it up again - and anglicise it!

Google it - the restart with money request pops up almost immediately

But then I found http://www.costumerating.com/index.php?i=159 which appears to be spawn two of the original site

I think he's the King of Canaries.

Fine figure of a man. (Is there an emoticon for 'snigger'?)

And now I have itchy trigger finger - sooo tempted to raid that Photobucket. Will have to come up with a good nom de guerre first....

After looking at those, I'm guessing the pewter tumblers, tankards and glasses hung from the belt...

http://www.costumerating.com/index.php?i=128

why would this lady worry about where her pewter goblet is?

Why would anyone carry their cup round hung from their belt?

Funily enough, I've only really seen this at Tewkesbury...

I'm completely prepared to be shot down in flames over this, though!!!

Pewter goblet? It should be silver, but actually it looks like all these free/ cheap goblets my parents acquired years ago from somewhere.

Maybe he's a regular down the Queen Vic. Pete Beale had one of them over the bar in 'Eastenders' years ago.... :D

How about this one?

http://www.costumerating.com/index.php?i=157

I can't quite figure out which period he is. But there's certain clubs in Manchester where he'd be quite a popular lad with them lace up boots...

ETA: Help! the tankard thing is contagious...
