I've recently moved into a bigger studio, in the centre of leeds, and, along side my Ages of Elegance work, have started running craft and sewing classes, a craft club the 3rd thursday of each month, and a costume clinic the 2nd thursday of each month where you can book in to have problems solved, brainstorm or just an extra pair of hands to help with fitting.
We will also be running historical costume classes at various times throughout the year and cover a few centuries

Re: Costume Clinic and sewing/craft classes
we're running a Dark Age Embroidery class on March 26th 10.30-4.30
Dark Age Embroidery Class - Beginners
Have you ever wanted to produce your own Bayeux tapestry or Mammen embroidered cloak? Let’s get you started. In this one day class we will be examining embroidery imagery and technique in dark age Britain and Europe, looking especially at the patterns and techniques of “opus anglicanum” and commencing a small scale embroidery project to your own design suitable for using as purse or a cushion insert.
Participants will need to supply their own medium sized wooden square roller frame and one quarter of a metre of small hole pre-shrunk embroidery linen – the session will start with examining and drawing out a pattern, then mounting and tensioning the linen onto the frame as well as working cottons, needles and synthetic embroidery threads
cost £35 refreshments included but not lunch
you will need to prebook at the website http://www.fabric-ation.co.uk and numbers are ltd
we also have an advanced leatherwork class on feb 26th and i've had requests for a spinning class if anyone is interested in teaching one give me a shout
