Fur fabric suppliers?

Postby Shadowcat » Thu Jan 15, 2009 1:52 pm

I might need some strips of white fur fabric, not real fur to trim a couple of of medieval tabardy type things. Any suggestions?

Dunelm is about an hour and a half away from me on the other side of london, and no fur on the web site. I'll try Denholm Velvets - didn't know they did fur fabric - I hate it, but this is a make-do job, no money and little time!!

Hmmph! Can't get at the product page for Denholme Velvets. Will have to phone in the morning!

Don't know if these will have the quality you're looking for, but they#ll send samples

Because there would have to be three of them.

If you're think of possibly heading over this way there's a shop in the Narrow Way in Hackney - Mermaid Fabrics that also does some fur fabric. It's quite near Hackney Central Rail Station.

Let me know how much you need and I'll have a rummage for you. Off the top of my head I have no idea how much white I have (it's at work), but I have lots of random fake fur pieces, and would happily send you some if I have it!
