Thanks for the link - nice picture/gown, but I prefer the plan front ones!

I had a brain wave earlier, whilst pleating my kirtle skirt. I always put a box pleat in the front of any skirt, usually an inverted one. I noticed on my kirtle that an inverted box pleat hides the top few inches of the centre front seam. So surely if I had an inverted box pleat on my gown, covering the slit and with a placket behind, noone would really notice would they? Considering I will have a girdle too.
