A Tudor Feast!!

thought it was brilliant, Ruth is so lively and energetic that the program was a pleasure to watch. I was hoping that it would go on for longer!!

How could they do all that work and then not eat it themselves?

The green valley crew are a pleasure to watch.
Slowly realizing just how far is still to go.

Excellent programme, even if they did cut away or hide some of the butchery (expected in these PC times).

One thing that worried me a little is that they appeared to put the raw peacock skin over the top of a cooked pie! Instant food poisoning on it's way...

It's ok as long as you don't eat the pastry coffin I think - we had peacock some years ago at Kentwell and they did this. Don't remember anyone getting food poisoning...

My mum said that too, but i could only see people eating the meat.
Good show, although they compained about things too much.

i dont think they did, i think theyr were just highlighting the difficulty. after all, they are all experienced living history people so its not as if they are experiencing it for the first time.
