Ken Conboy, Ken Bowra with illustrations by Simon McCouaig. Isbn 1-85532-162-9. Osprey publications 1991.
Part of the old Elite series. Throughout the book the authors make sure they stick to the correct terms of PAVN (Peoples Army of Vietnam the NVA) and PLAF (Peoples Liberation Armed Forces) who were dubbed "Red Vietnamese" (Viet Cong) by Free World forces. Covering all three Indochinese Wars, the Sino-Vietnamese War and the counter insurgency war in Laos which takes it up to what was (when the book was published) the present day.
A valuable resource for a Vietnam reenactor, a have made use of it for my own CIA portrayal with Rolling Thunder.
