Post by ladydetemps »

Anyone seen it on bbc2 last night (Wednesday)? It was focusing on king arthur and alfred the great this week. There was a lot of people in historical costume at the beginning.

Filmed at the Chalke Valley Literary Festival last year. Ian Hislop was very much in evidence on the Sunday, and even got a special VIP guest tour of the WW1 trench with all the bangs and flashes included...

Maker of reproduction WW1 and WW2 paperwork, eg 1915 AB64's, Officer's AB439's, Memorial Scrolls, etc:

Not going this year because of a clash of events but it's a unique event well worth a visit. http://www.cvhf.org.uk/
