me on the TV tomorrow

Postby robin wood » Sun Oct 07, 2012 3:22 pm

A few weeks ago BBC filmed for a day in my workshop for a new series "Paul Martin's Handmade Revolution" it goes out tomorrow 3.45 BBC2. Not sure what the target audience is at that time of day.

Paul made a wooden bowl on the lathe, they filmed a bit of me forging tools and carving a spoon but that may not make the edit.

For those that don't know my work this is a nice film made recently by Artisan Media http://youtu.be/GLpNNf4V5lU

Was he as nice as he appears to be on the box? Seems quite a knowledgable chap too. By the way I enjoyed your appearence on Radio 4 a while back.

Paul Martin is a really lovely bloke, very open and enthusiastic with none of the turn it on when the cameras roll that you get with some other TV presenters. He worked as a furniture restorer for many years before getting into the TV stuff.
