I know the book isn't entirely historically accurate (heheh!) but I have a huge fondness for it. I hope the series does it justice....even if it won't do history any!

No idea whether we'll get it over here, and if we do, whether it'll be on terrestrial TV (I don't even have a TV service!), much less available on iPlayer but I'm guessing that at some point it will be on DVD.
