Uneasy Lies The Head

Postby Marcus Woodhouse » Sun Aug 05, 2007 2:48 pm

Jean Plaidy, Arrow Books. ISBN 0-09-949248-2. A historical novel which focuses upon the reighn og Henry VII. Must be very sympathetic because I quite liked that Tudor fella by the end of it. Mind you my bef with the Tudors lies with that Henry VIII who couldn't keep his peeker in his pants and brought the curse of the reformation upon poor Erin's shore.

Love Jean Plaidy. My mum got me into reading her when I was ten, since then I have been trying to own a copy of every book she wrote. hardest to get hold of are the Plantagenet series. Still, they are re issuing her stuff now so may be I'll get a chance soon.

I read loads of her stuff when I was about Lidi/Annis's age, but I can never remember all the names she wrote under, Jean Plaidy, Victoria Holt, ....?

Because there would have to be three of them.
