Model making

Post by Savernake »

Hello,

Looking for something to do on the forthcoming winter nights I'm think of making models again. Does anyone know of any readily available medieval themed model kits out there? Perhaps larger scale kits of individual knights/characters, or smaller scale kits of scenes such as a castle or village.

Another thing which I've thought of is building a scene myself without using a kit. Has anyone ever done something like that and if you do you have any tips, it's difficult to know where to start.

Any info appreciated,

Chris

Miniart do a few 1/16th scale knights and foot soldiers and a 1/72nd scale castle.

Thanks Both for your replies. I've found a few manufacturers of 28mm figures so might give those ago as well.

Should they be of interest to anyone:
