Painting: Medieval knight

Postby mattb » Sun May 18, 2008 8:11 pm

Here's a painting i did a few years back, gave the original to a girl i was with at the time

Based on Ulric Von Lichtenstein from the Manesse Codex. Don't get to do this type of thing anymore. :(

Very nice Matt 8) I love the shading on the horse barding, the wonderful helmet crest and the great detail all over.

Hope you get some time to do some more.

Very nice Matt.

I have to get back to my artistic roots. My God given talent has been laying dormant too long.

Never really considered selling paintings, i've generaly got enough on my plate, it would be nice to do more painting, but i really need to justify it these days. :(
Still got to clear my order books, produce stock and someday build my new harness, not to mention getting the website finished :?

Thanks again all for the nice comments.
