Ferey Medieval

Postby Kristian of Flanders » Tue May 27, 2014 11:21 am

Hello,
i am new to reenactment and like recomended in some posts i am gonne buy the shoes first. I like to reenact a late 15th century Burgundion archer.
This weekend we have a fair at Sterckxhof Deurne in Flanders Belgium.
http://www.fereymedieval.com/index.php is told to me to be a skillfull, but expencif shoemaker.

I would like to read your (professional) opinion.

NP Historic shoes will be at Sterkshof. They have fabulous shoes, mine came from them and I will be wear them at Sterkshof if you want to have a look at the quality. I will be easy to find, small, loud and will be in a large tent full of bows and arrows. See you there Annie

Had a chat with the shopkeeper of NP historicalshoes.
He would be delichted to make shoes fore me, if i could wait one year.
I need to find a good alternative and consider Matuls.

The shoes of Ferey, had all rubber soles and made of thin leather.
U where right to advais me not to go that way.
