Tudor Traders needed for central Cambridge event, 13 Sept

Postby Great St Mary's » Fri Mar 28, 2014 11:59 am

Hello all,

As part of an Elizabethan pageant that we're running to celebrate the 450th anniversary of Elizabeth I visiting Cambridge, we're looking for some traders on Saturday 13 September.

We'll be based in the churchyard of Great St Mary's, which is right on the market square in Cambridge and should be a good venue. 13 September is the Heritage Open Days weekend, so it's usually a very busy one in central Cambridge.

We're looking for traders in Tudor/Elizabethan costume, but aside from that we're not overly worried about authenticity of goods - it's aimed at selling to the general public rather than re-enactors. Stall pitches will be £20.

I'm awaiting confirmation from the Council, but thought I would advertise now and will be able to send final details to anyone who is interested within a couple of weeks.

If you might be available, please send me an email at heritage@gsm.cam.ac.uk

Many thanks,
