Shipping Swords to the USA?

Postby PoD » Thu Jul 18, 2013 10:09 pm

Has anyone had any problems shipping swords to the USA?

I've got one to send and was wondering what the best courier to use is and what I need to put on the customs info to make sure it gets through alright.

Never had any problems. When shipping them in their finished scabbards, I usually just label them 'theatrical prop' and send them by Parcel Force. Not had an issue yet.

If you sell swords to someone in the US... does that make you an international arms dealer? :^)
