Online sales, suspect countries?

Postby lawrence » Wed Dec 26, 2012 12:53 pm

I'm just setting up the postage system on my new shop and was wondering, is there anyone here with an online shop that has certain countries they won't take orders from or require other confirmation from them, ie fax?

Not sure that you can lump everyone in a certain country as 'suspect' and I have postage set for all countries but just wondered what other companies do.

There are a lot of things you aren't allowed to post to Italy. And most of those you can post, one of their postal staff will steal.

We tend to use FedEx or similar for our overseas business as it often costs less than the Post Office and certainly appears to be a lot more secure - especially in Italy.
