Public liability insurance

Postby spydde » Sun Oct 21, 2012 10:06 am

The big question,
We are but ten virgins fair, oops sorry no, my group is about to put on some small public displays, and although members of 'other ' societies want the life boat of having our own insurance, the public side will consist of a period living history of a couple of tents and a horse line, the public displays will consist of parades and small drill and skill at arms, using 6- 8 horses, we currently have 7 members plus 5 volunteers, swords mainly - no black powder or live firearms.

Anyone one have a good insurer they can recommend?

Thanks for the link & reminder about PLI, & thanks for posting the question - It's helped me realise I could get off my behind & re-organise our insurances - we now have so many for all the different things we get up to I'm sure a friendly broker would put together a package deal for us instead of my having everything spread out all over different organisations!
