Well its on the way.
I've spent today printing the first 500 copies to take with me to the Museums and Heritage Show. :D

I've set up the collator and booklet maker and they work

I've just received some posters for display on the stall from some of the advertisers.

Next weekend I will be printing more guides to circulate to the advertisers.

I'm quite relieved that me prining and finishing skills have all come back to me after quite a number of years

Well, I'm back. There was a good deal of interest in using Living History as an interpretive tool and in the guide as well. We will just have to see what comes of it.

It's all commonsence in the end. You get 100 other event organisers advertising your event and you help them advertise theirs. If they have been to your event they are not likely to come again that year so why not pass them on to some other historic activity/site rather the next time they have a day out. The alternatives are, they go to: the seaside; the airsow; the county show; the football match.....

AND IT DOES NOT COST YOU ANYTHING apart from putting the guide on sale in your retail outlet or at your entry desk which are (wo)manned anyway. You might even make a profit by selling more. And you get the advertising spend of NT or EH.
